Get your First Job!

Getting that first casual job can be tricky – help is available just in time for summer!

In Term 4 young people aged 15-21 can access free training, including coffee making classes, food handling, First Aid, RSA certificate and more. There is also help to understand tax and super, and how to put your best foot forward at an interview. You can choose one session or come to them all – our goal is to help you get your first job!

Be Job Ready
Learn the basics to get your first job. We’ll talk about making a resume (no experience? No problem!), tax file numbers, applications, superannuation and more. Snacks provided!
Wednesday 18 October, 4pm to 6pm

Coffee Making course 
Being able to make coffees looks great on your resume. This 4-week course will give you hands on experience making coffees.
Tuesdays from 17 October, 4pm to 6pm

The following courses also have free places available for 15-21 year old’s.

*Note participants must be 17 years+ to obtain and use RSA.
